I started with a piece of Highland Heather cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Gingham Embossing Folder. Then I added a layer of Highland Heather cardstock with our Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper. One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the color coordination. If you aren’t sure which colors to use with one of our papers, you can always find the colors in the catalog or on the package of paper. The Sweet Talk coordinating colors are:
I used the Sweet Hearts Dies to cut the little tag in Basic White cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink using the Sweet Conversations stamp set. Both of these products are included in the Sweet Conversations Bundle (save 10% with our bundles) but you can buy these products separately. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the the back of the tag and then adhered it to the front of the card. I made a bow using our Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, added a Mini Glue Dot to the back and placed it at the top of the tag. I also used the Sweet Heart Dies to make the small Real Red heart that I added below the sentiment (I placed a Mini Glue Dot on the back).
To complete the card, I added three Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of the card. You can find all the measurements I used to make today’s card below the Supply List.

I started with a base of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Fresh Freesia cardstock. Next, I stamped the flowers onto Basic White cardstock using Fresh Freesia ink and the stamp set, Flowing Flowers. I didn’t worry about stamping in the middle of the cardstock because I knew I’d be covering it up with the sentiment. This stamp set is in our DistINKtive line and these stamps are always so detailed!
After stamping the flowers, I adhered that piece to the base of the card. I cut the “thanks” out using the Amazing Thanks Dies. One piece was cut out of Basic White cardstock and for the other, I used Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I used Multipurpose Glue to glue the two pieces together and then used it to glue the words to the circle which I cut out using the Beautiful Shapes Dies.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the circle before placing it on the front of the card. For the finishing touch, I added four Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels(they really sparkle).

On Saturday I shared the card below, made with Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, a free Sale-a-Bration gift you can earn FREE with a $50 order (before shipping/tax). This first card (below) has a Crushed Curry cardstock base and instead of using an embossed piece of cardstock on the side panel, I used another pattern in Daffodil Afternoon. I used the Hippo & Friends Diesto cut out the sentiment and the piece it’s layered with. I stamped the sentiment onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Memento Ink and the stamp set, Boughs & Blossoms.

Today’s card features some new products from the Stampin’ Up! January – June Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration brochure!
I started with a piece of Pool party cardstock for the base of my card. Then I layered a piece of Basic White cardstock with Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper. This Designer Series Paper is part of the Friendly Hello Bundle and it’s one of the free gifts you can receive during Sale-a-Bration with a $100 order. If you choose this as your free gift, you’ll receive the Designer Series Paper and a stamp set.
Before adhering the Pool Party cardstock and Designer Series Paper to the base of my card, I wrapped our sheer Pool Party ribbon around the layers and tied a knot.
I stamped the sentiment using the brand new stamp, Happy Hedgehogs, in Memento ink and cut it out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch. You can also purchase the Happy Hedgehogs Bundle which includes this stamp set and a hedgehog punch. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and placed it on top of the ribbon. For the finishing touch, I added one of our Brushed Brass Butterflies. In the picture below, I used Pool Party ink instead of Memento Ink to stamp the sentiment.

It’s a brand new year and sometimes a new year brings change. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about my business and have made the decision to stop sending card kits for all orders over $18.00. I’ve thought long and hard about this for several months and it hasn’t been an easy decision to make. I’ve heard from many of you that you love my kits and I love that you love them but I need to make a change and offer them in a different way. I offer my Card Samplers several times a month and will offer my Card Kits from time to time. They won’t be going away completely and I’m still in the process of figuring out all the details but I wanted to let you know today about my decision. On to today’s sneak peek project! I made a box using the new Sweet Little Boxes and the Sweet Conversations Bundle. The boxes are so easy to assemble and can be used for any occasion!

As you can see in the picture above, the boxes already come with two strips of adhesive. Simply use your bone folder to get a good crease on all the score lines, tear off the tape liner and pull up the sides to assemble the box.
I used our new Sweet Talk 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to give some color to the box and then wrapped our Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon around the box for another pop of color. This ribbon debuted in the Holiday catalog but isn’t retiring and will continue to be available! I used the new Sweet Hearts Dies to cut the little envelope out of Highland Heather cardstock and all the hearts were cut out with these dies. The little Luv U was stamped onto Basic White cardstock with Highland Heather ink and was stamped with the Sweet Conversations stamp set.

Happy New Year!!!!! I hope you had an enjoyable New Year’s Eve. Mark and I stayed home, watched two movies and went to bed before the strike of midnight. We used to buy a bottle of champagne and drink it but not really enjoy it so we don’t do that any more although I was tempted to buy a bottle when I was at the grocery store yesterday. It seems so celebratory! I was so sad to hear that Betty White passed away yesterday. I’ll admit, I cried.There aren’t many actors/actresses that I would have that type of reaction to the news of their death but she seemed like a very special lady.

It’s Saturday and I have a free tutorial for you. I love Ever Eden Designer Series Paper and this will be my last card using it since the last day it will be available is just a few days away – January 3, 2022. I think this pack of paper is so pretty in person, especially the design I used on today’s card. Another product I used, Garden Gems, are also only available until January 3rd.
This is a quick and easy card to replicate. Choose a Designer Series Paper you have on hand, a coordinating color of cardstock and ink and you can easily make this card.

I started with a piece of Just Jade cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I also added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List). Then I added a piece of Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper to the front. The colors that coordinate with this Designer Series Paper are:
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a stem and two sets of leaves in Just Jade ink using the stamp set, In Symmetry. I adhered this to a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the front of the card.
On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flower using Calypso Coral ink. I cut it out using Paper Snips, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it right above the stem. I stamped the sentiment, using the stamp set In Symmetry in Calypso Coral ink and then used my Paper Snips to cut a notch out of one end. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete the card, I added six rhinestones to the flower.

Today I have a sneak peek of Heart & Home Designer Series Paper (#157928) which will debut on January 4, 2022 in the January-June Mini Catalog. If you’ve ordered from me in the last six months, I ordered a new catalog for you and had Stampin’ Up! send it to you (along with the Sale-a-Bration brochure). I’ve heard that some people have already received it so if you haven’t, it’s on the way!

This is a very quick and easy card to make. The measurements are listed below the Supply List and you can see how to fold the cardstock and where to place your adhesive in a previous post HERE. After you make the base of the card, you’ll add the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper to the front and then wrap your ribbon around the smaller section. The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green ink onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Flowing Flowers. I cut it out using one of the dies from the Pretty Pillowbox Dies. These dies were in the Holiday Mini Catalog but are being carried over and will continue to be available.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhered it to the front of the card. Quick and easy!
