Today’s project is a little treat holder I’ve been including in the thank you packages I’ve been sending out to anyone who places an order with me. I think it’s fun to receive a sweet treat every now and then! To make the holders, I used our Happiness Blooms Designer Series and wrapped it up with our Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon. The sentiment comes from the stamp set Itty Bitty Greetings and it was punched out with the Classic Label Punch. I placed a Mini Glue Dot at the end of the sentiment and tucked it under the ribbon. I promised a picture tutorial for making a Dahlia Fold flower and today’s the day! Making these flowers is very addictive and so much fun. I will say that at first, I got a little frustrated folding the tiny pieces but with practice it has turned from frustrating to fun. Practicing with larger circles is the key to getting the technique down.
