Garden Impressions

I went out of my comfort zone a bit with this card.  If you are a regular follower of my blog, I think you’ll notice that this card is a little different from what I normally post. I created the card following a sketch, which is just a starting point and you can change elements of it, which I did.  I went back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to add the So Saffron embossed piece but I decided to keep it – that’s what took me out of my comfort zone! Happiness Blooms Treat Holders

Today’s project is a little treat holder I’ve been including in the thank you packages I’ve been sending out to anyone who places an order with me.  I think it’s fun to receive a sweet treat every now and then! To make the holders, I used our Happiness Blooms Designer Series and wrapped it up with our Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon.  The sentiment comes from the stamp set Itty Bitty Greetings and it was punched out with the Classic Label Punch.  I placed a Mini Glue Dot at the end of the sentiment and tucked it under the ribbon.  (more…)

Retiring Soon!

Every year five Stampin’ Up! colors retire and five new ones are introduced.  It’s always hard when you have to say goodbye to some of your favorites.  Although the Annual Catalog is available until June 3, 2019, many products will sell out once the retirement list is announced mid-April.  One of the first products to go will be the retiring In Colors.  Every single year, they sell out way before the end of the catalog.

One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the color coordination. If there’s a color you love, you can rest assured that there will be a matching stamp pad, ink refills, cardstock, ribbon and markers!   (more…)
