Hello there!
To create today’s card, I used the Hand-Lettered Prose dies along with the stamp set, Well Said. These dies make it so easy to create a fancy looking card! I decided it was time to do some heat embossing so I pulled out my heat tool, Versamark & white embossing powder and embossed the word friend. Embossing never, ever fails to make me ooh and ahh – I love embossing!
Using my die-cutting machine, I cut each of the five letters, four times in Purple Posy cardstock. Then I used Multipurpose Glue to stack them up, layer by layer. I used the Multipurpose Glue again to adhere each letter to the front of the card. After embossing the sentiment, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back. Our Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins completed the card.

- Thick Whisper White: 11″ x 4-1/4″
- Highland Heather: 5-1/4″ x 4″ scrap for sentiment
- Whisper White: 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″

Stampin’ Up! catalogs are filled with cardmaking ideas! The inspiration for today’s card came right from the catalog on page 131.
I used the Bloom & Grow Bundle which includes the Bloom & Grow stamp set and the Budding Blooms dies. Did you happen to notice the scalloped edge above & below the sentiment? That was done using the two top dies in the picture below. I love that I can do both edges at the same time!
Directions for Today’s Card
All the products I used are in the Supply List below. Simply click any of the images and you’ll be directed to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
- Cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock that measures 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score at 4-1/4″ and fold in half.
- Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock that measures 5-1/4″ x 4″. Place inside the Tufted Embossing Folder and run through a die-cutting machine. Adhere to the front of the card using Snail.
- Stamp (2) flower images from the stamp set Bloom & Grow onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Ink. Color both images using Stampin’ Blends: Light & Dark Pool Party and Light & Dark Granny Apple Green. Cut both out using the Budding Blooms Dies.
- Stamp the sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Ink. Place the two scalloped dies above and below the sentiment and run through your die-cutting machine. Snip off at the ends. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back.
- Using Snail, adhere both sets of flowers to the front of the card. Attach the sentiment between them.

Hello there!
Today’s card is all about the new 2019-2021 In Color, Seaside Spray. When you purchase a package of the 2019-2021 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, you’ll receive all five colors (Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose, Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy and Terracotta Tile) in four different designs.
All of the new In Colors have a coordinating ribbon and I used the Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon. It’s so pretty in person! Another new product I used is the stamp set, I Say Hello.
After I made the card I wondered what it might look like if I had incorporated Crumb Cake into the card (taking the cue from the ribbon) and used it as the base instead of Whisper White. That’s another variation to try!
Directions to Make Today’s Card
All the products I used are in the Supply List below. Simply click any of the images and you’ll be directed to my online store.
- Cut a piece of thick Whisper White cardstock that measures 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score at 5-1/2″ and fold in half. This will be your card base.
- Cut a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock that measures 5-1/4″ x 4″. Place inside the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder and run it through a die-cutting machine.
- Cut a piece of 2019-2021 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) that measures 2″ x 5-1/4″ and glue it to the bottom part of the embossed Seaside Spray piece. Wrap a piece of Scalloped Linen Ribbon around the middle of the card where the DSP and cardstock meet. Add a small amount of Snail on the back of the card and place the ends of the ribbon there to adhere it. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals all over the back (I also placed them on the edge of the card where the ribbon is) and attach to the front of the card.
- Stamp the sentiment in Seaside Spray ink using the stamp set, I Say Hello. Cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Dies and a die-cutting machine. Cut another, larger square in Seaside Spray cardstock. Layer the two together using Snail. Attach Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and place on the card.
- For a finishing touch, add three rhinestones to the front of the card.

Today’s card uses five new products (and one new bundle) from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog:
First up is the stamp set, Bloom & Grow. If you love flowers, you’re going to love this set (plus it includes some great sentiments)! All of the images are perfect for coloring and then you can cut them out using the coordinating Budding Bloom Dies. These two products are also bundled together so if you want to purchase both, be sure to use the bundle item number so you’ll save 10%!
To color the flowers, I stamped the flower image onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Ink. Then I used both the Light & Dark Purple Posy AND Light & Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers and leaves. You always want to use Memento Ink when using our Stampin’ Blends or you’ll find the ink will bleed.
Once I cut the image out with the Budding Blooms Dies, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attached it to the front of the card.
Each year Stampin’ Up! introduces five new colors that are available for two years. I used one of these new colors, Purple Posy on my card today! Sometimes when photographing my cards, some of the colors appear darker than they actually are. The color swatch below of Purple Posy is a better indication of the true color.
Directions for Today’s Card
- Cut a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock that measures 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score at 4-1/4″ and fold in half. This will be your card base.
- Cut a piece of Purple Posy cardstock that measures 5-1/4″ x 4″ and attach to the base of the card.
- Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock that measures 5″ x 3-3/4″. Run it through a die-cutting machine using the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder. Attach to the front of the card.
- Stamp the flowers from the stamp set, Bloom & Grow, onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Ink. Color it using Purple Posy & Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. Cut it out using the Budding Blooms Dies. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to the front of the card.
- Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock that measures 3-1/2″ x 7/8″. Stamp the sentiment using Memento Ink.
- Cut a piece of Purple Posy cardstock that measures 1-1/8″ x 3-3/4″. Attach the sentiment to the front using Snail adhesive. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to the front of the card.
