One of my very favorite products in the Mini Catalog is Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper and sadly, it’s retiring. This paper is gorgeous! Today I’d like to share cards/projects I’ve made using this paper. Please note that some of the products used on these cards/projects have retired. I’m sorry but I don’t have a tutorial for you today (it’s been a crazy week) but I do have a card. I needed a baby card this week and used the Kangaroo & Company Bundle along with the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.
The Kangaroo & Company stamp set and Kangaroo Dies will be retiring on June 1st. If you’re interested in purchasing both of these products and you’re worried they will sell out quickly and want to purchase them before the sale, you’ll want to get the Kangaroo & Company Bundle. BUT, on June 1st, the Kangaroo Dies will be 50% off and the stamp set will be regular price. If you decide to wait until the first, don’t purchase the bundle but get the items separately and you’ll save more! I used the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelopes for the base of my card. I stamped the cute kangaroo and the baby onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink and colored them using Crumb Cake & Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I cut both the baby and mom using the Kangaroo Dies. When you cut the mom out, a little slit is also cut out for the baby to slip into. So stinkin’ cute! I added a little glue dot behind the baby so it would stay secure inside the pouch. I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink (not sure why it looks so green in the photos) using the stamp set, Inspired Thoughts. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the mom and attached it to a Stitched So Sweetly rectangle and then added more dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the base of the card. To complete the card, I added three Resin Hearts. These cute hearts are also retiring and will be 50% off beginning on June 1st and available while supplies last!

Before sharing today’s card, I want to let you know that the Last Chance List for the January – June Mini Catalog has been released. Today’s card is easy to create with the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. This was one of the cards included in my previous Hand-Penned Card Sampler
Each package includes 20 scored cards and 20 envelopes. I folded the base of the card in half (how easy is that?) and then added a layer of Highland Heather cardstock and Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to this layer before adhering it to the front. I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink using the stamp sent Hand-Penned Petals and then cut it out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch (this punch has been on backorder but is now available). I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the punched sentiment and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete the card, I added three rhinestones under the sentiment. Super easy!

Today’s card features the Artistically Inked Bundle which includes the Artistically Inked stamp set and the Artistic Dies. I also used the new Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder.
I started with a base of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Magenta Madness cardstock. I added another layer of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
I stamped the flowers using the Artistically Inked stamp set in Magenta Madness ink and for the leaves I used Pear Pizzazz ink. This stamp set is one of our Distinktive sets which show different opacities in a single stamped image. I cut the flowers and leaves with the Artistic Dies.
The sentiment was stamped using the Artistically Inked stamp set with Magenta Madness ink and was cut out using the Tasteful Labels Dies. 99.9% of the time I pop my sentiment up with Stampin’ Dimensionals but because I used Dimensionals on the flower closest to the sentiment, I simply adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Seal. I used Mini Glue Dots to attach the leaves to the flowers and then used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the top flower to the base and put dimensionals on the other one. To complete the card, I added three Artistic Blooms Sequins. I love using these sequins because they have adhesive on the back!
I made another version of the card, below, using Fresh Freesia cardstock and Fresh Freesia ink.

Today’s card features Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper and the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set, both from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. This card was one of three included in my recent Hand-Penned Card Sampler.
I started with a piece of Highland Heather cardstock for the base of my card. Then I added squares/rectangles of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper to a piece of Basic White cardstock and then adhered it to the card base.
The sentiment was stamped in Memento Ink using the stamp set, Hand-Penned Petals onto Memento Ink.The sentiment was cut out using the Layering Circles Dies along with larger circles out of Highland Heather cardstock and Basic White cardstock. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and also added them on the back of the Highland Heather circle before adhering it to the card base. To complete the card, a piece of Basic White was adhered to the inside.

Today I’m sharing several more versions of the card I shared on Friday. For these versions, I used different colors and the new Animal Print embossing folder. On Friday I shared a FREE PDF Tutorial for this card using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. If you’d like the measurements I used, you can see that post here and be sure to scroll down past the Supply List to access the tutorial.
All three of my cards today were made using the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship stamp set. For this first card I used Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends and Fresh Freesia cardstock.
For this next card, I used Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends and Pale Papaya cardstock.
For this last card, I used Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends and Poppy Parade cardstock.
Flowers of Friendship is a great stamp set for coloring, especially for someone who doesn’t have much experience using our Blends. The coloring areas aren’t super detailed so it makes for a relaxing experience!

- If your order reaches $150 or more, please DO NOT use the host code so you can receive Stampin’ Rewards (free product directly from Stampin’ Up!). Here’s What You’ll Receive:
- All the paper and embellishments needed to make six cards (two each of three different designs). The paper will be cut, scored, embossed and die cut for you!
