Today I want to share a beautiful card I received in the mail from my friend, Sandra.

Sandra used a stamp set from the Annual Catalog called Game On to create her card.

The sentiment is also from Game On and it was cut out using the Tailored Tag Punch. I love how she stamped the dice on the sentiment piece and then stamped her sentiment over it. I also love the sparkle of the Red Rhinestones and her placement of them. It’s always fun to receive Happy Mail! Thank you, Sandra!

Sandra told me she found a card on Pinterest by Michelle Pollard and that was the inspiration for her card.
Supply List
Please Note: I’m making a best guess as to which colors of ink Sandra used on her card.
If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your demonstrator! You can place an order by clicking any of the images below to go to my Stampin’ Up! online store. Today’s card features the Gathered Leaves Dies and the beautiful Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I started with a piece of Early Espresso cardstock for the card base. After cutting the paper (all the measurements can be found below the Supply List), I cut off 2-3/4″. The cardstock I cut off, is the horizontal piece the leaves are on.
Next, I added a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to the inside the card and then attached a piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper to the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment onto another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using Cajun Craze ink and the stamp set, Country Home. Then I adhered it to the Early Espresso piece I cut off earlier. Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back, but only on the right side (the part that will be on the Designer Series Paper).

Time to finish the card and make some pretty leaves! The Gathered Leaves Dies not only cut out the leaves but emboss them too! I used Mint Macaron, and Cajun Craze cardstock to cut out the leaves as well as another piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper (the speckled leaf). I adhered all the leaves to the sentiment piece using Multipurpose Glue except for the top Mint Macaron leaf to which I added several Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Between the beautiful colors in the paper and the cute little sea creatures, I can’t stop playing with Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

Today’s card takes little to no time to assemble (all the measurements can be found below the Supply List)! I started with a base of Balmy Blue cardstock. Next, I adhered a piece of Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to a piece of Pacific Point cardstock. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of this layer before placing it on the card.

The sentiment was stamped onto Balmy Blue cardstock using Pacific Point ink and the stamp set, Today’s Tiles. I usually stamp my sentiments onto Whisper White cardstock but when I tried it with this card, it seemed too harsh so I went with Balmy Blue which kept with the theme of the ocean. The sentiment was placed where I could cover up the least amount of turtles. I used the Layering Ovals Dies to cut out the sentiment and the Pacific Point oval.

To add a little sparkle to the card, I added three Holiday Rhinestones in Coastal Cabana. A very quick and easy card!

Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine
The beautiful Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine will debut on September 1st (we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the Mini machine). The feature I love is that it folds up, nice and compact which makes it easy to carry. Inside the box you’ll also find a base plate, die plate, 2 cutting plates and a Specialty Plate (this will be used with your 3D embossing folders). All the plates are numbered which makes creating “sandwiches” a breeze! Demonstrators can preorder the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine now so if you can’t wait, why not consider purchasing the Starter Kit and joining my team! Today’s card features Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder. I love all the colors in this paper and the turtles and whales are so cute! You can see another card using this paper HERE.

On the new Stampin’ Up! website, there are some really great photos of this paper. If you click HERE or on the image of the Designer Series Paper below, you’ll be taken to the page on my Stampin’ Up! online store where you’ll see this paper. Once there, click the images on the left and scroll through the package!

To create the card, I started with a piece of Pacific Point cardstock and then added a layer of Whisper White (all the measurements can be found below the Supply List). I embossed a piece of Just Jade cardstock using the Seabed Embossing Folder and then adhered it to the Whisper White. I used more Pacific Point cardstock as a mat for the Designer Series Paper. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to this piece to pop it up.

The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using the stamp set, Today’s Tiles and Just Jade ink. It was cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and I used the next larger size to cut out the Pacific Point rectangle. My original plan was to place the sentiment more in the center of the card but I didn’t want to cover up the turtle who really does seem to be looking at you! Am I right?!

Supply List
If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your demonstrator! You can place an order by clicking any of the images below to go to my Stampin’ Up! online store. - Just Jade cardstock; 4-3/4″ x 3-1/4″
- Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper: 4-1/4″ x 1-3/4″
- Whisper White cardstock: (2) 5-1/4″ x 4″ (one for inside the card)
- Whisper White cardstock: scrap for sentiment

The sentiment on today’s card is one I agree with. Yes, I admit, I’m a chocoholic and chocolate can always be found in my home ESPECIALLY since March 2020.

The sentiment is actually three different stamps that I placed on my clear block. As you can see, there are so many different possibilities with this one stamp set! I’m not a coffee person but I do love my chocolate, cookies and cocktails, in that order, so this stamp set really speaks to me.

I stamped several chocolate images onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock using an Early Espresso stamp pad. After coloring them in with Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends, I cut them out with the coordinating dies, Love You More Than. Then I placed the chocolates on my Whisper White cardstock so I could figure out where I wanted to place the chocolates. When I knew where I wanted all of them, I removed several and stamped some directly onto my paper and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to four of the ones I’d cut out and adhered them to the card.

by Tracy | Aug 13, 2020 | Card Sampler, Designer Series Paper, Die-Cutting, Embossing Folders, Uncategorized
I have two cards to share with you today. This first card is another sneak peek from my August Card Sampler. Place a minimum $50 order at my Stampin’ Up! Online Store using the host code 7VZ3BNVA and you’ll receive all the paper and embellishments to make 6 cards (2 each of three designs). All the paper will be cut, scored, die cut and embossed for you (you’ll need to supply your own adhesive, ink and stamp set). I used the stamp Ridiculously Awesome for all three cards.
Today is the last day my August Card Sampler will be available!
For all the details, please click here!

Today’s card was created using the Boho Indigo Product Medley Refill Kit. If you have a catalog, you can find both the Boho Indigo Product Medley AND the Refill Kit on page 9. There’s a big difference in price between these two products but I just wanted the Designer Series Paper so the refill kit was perfect for me. The Product Medley includes dies, a stamp set, Designer Series Paper, ribbon and more! The Refill Kit includes 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, 6 sheets of dry embossed paper, die cuts and 40 paper flowers.

For more information about these two products, click the images below and you’ll be directed to my Stampin’ Up! Online Store.

The base of my card is Thick Very Vanilla. The next layer is Misty Moonlight, one of our new In Colors this year. The two squares were cut using our regular Very Vanilla cardstock and were embossed using the the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. The Refill kit does come with several sheets of embossed paper and those could be used as well.
The sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock using the stamp set, Life is Beautiful. It was cut out using the Layering Ovals dies which I also used to cut out the scalloped ovals. Usually I use glue to adhere all the sentiment pieces together and then add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach it to the card. This time I added Dimensionals to the Misty Moonlight scallop (the middle layer) and then used glue on the back of the larger Very Vanilla scallop.
You can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List.

Today’s card is a sneak peek of one of the three cards in my August Card Sampler.
Place a minimum $50 order at my Stampin’ Up! online store using the host code 7VZ3BNVA and you’ll receive 6 card kits (2 each of three designs) with envelopes and a PDF Tutorial with instructions, pictures and a supply list. You’ll receive all the paper and embellishments needed to make the cards and all the paper will be cut, scored and die cut for you (you’ll need to supply your own adhesive, ink and stamp set). All the work is done for you! The stamp set I used for all three cards is Ridiculously Awesome. The last day to sign up for the August Card Sampler is tomorrow, Thursday, August 13th. For all the details, please click here.
